Hello Rachel DiGiammarino, and welcome to my site. I created this site because I want to work as a SEO, or SEM analyst at Dealer.com. So I figured what better way than to use SEO and SEM methods to show you I am the right person for the job.

I decided what I would do is choose a few keywords from a Dealer.com client, and try and rank higher than those words. I decided to go with a local dealership in Suzuki, so the keywords I chose were Suzuki SX4, Burlington.

Now I realize that this is a WordPress blog, and some of the steps I am taking wouldn’t be used for a Dealer.com client, however it was more my goal to show to you that I understand the methods behind SEO, and SEM. I also realized that Dealer.com has different products such as your online advertising products that one of your clients such as Burlington Suzuki might not have purchased. But without that information I chose to go forward and show you the steps I would take to get a blog such as this to rank high on a Google search.

I have put on my site the steps I took to get my blog ranked in Google search, you can find those in the blog entries in the section called The Search, in addition you can also read about some other blog posts I wrote related to search. You can read a little bit about me in the page titled The Man, as well as view my resume on the page called The CV. And finally the Suzuki SX4 in Burlington page, is the little article I wrote to get my site ranked in Google.

I decided to use this medium, rather than just a traditional resume, because I felt I needed to show you what I could do. I had applied for the SEM Analyst before, on the recommendation of other Dealer.com employees, who had told me “they were always looking for people who are passionate about search.” I however didn’t get an interview because I believe I just didn’t have the experience on my resume to warrant human resources selection. But as you can see throughout my site, I have spent just over a year and a half learning and using SEM, and SEO, for my business, as well as for other businesses in the area. I believe I can really be a great asset for a company like Dealer.com, and I would love to get the opportunity to show you what I can do.
